Zora Kiser

Celebrating the life of Zora Kiser Hanam, born on July 18, 1939, the daughter of Edgar and Beulah Louise Eudy Kiser in Concord, North Carolina, Zora graced this world with her vibrant spirit until her peaceful passing on April 10, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.
Zora was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a grandson, Anthony Bennett, a brother, Eugene Kiser, and special cousin, Royce Lee Morgan.
Zora was a devoted mother to her cherished children: Vincent Gregory, Christopher Gregory, Vanessa (Steve) Absher, and Sherrie Bennett. Nothing brought her more joy than her family, which expanded to include beloved grandchildren, Didi (Chris) Parker, Theresea Bennett, JoAnn Wade, and Robert Bennett, as well as great-grandchildren, Jaden Brown, Khristina Wade, Brianna Wade, Charlie Wade, and Dawson Bennett; aunt, Margie Eudy; niece, Cindy Kiser; cousin, Leann Morgan. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took immense pride in each of their accomplishments.
An adventurous spirit, Zora traveled to remarkable destinations, including Germany, London, Paris, Spain, Athens, and Greece, creating cherished memories along the way. She found joy in meeting new people, indulging in culinary delights, and crafting. Zora had a unique ability to bring warmth and light to the lives of those she encountered, as well as a fondness for her feline companions, who added extra joy to her life.
Zora was a steadfast member of the Pentecostal faith, drawing strength from her love for Jesus. She found solace and happiness in singing His praises and nurturing her faith, which inspired all who knew her.
Zora Kiser Hanam will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her love, strength, and the joy she brought into the world. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who celebrate the profound impact she had on their lives.
