Obituary

Zadoc Stanton Kenimer, Jr., 83, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Mr. Kenimer was born in High Point, NC a son of the late Zadoc Stanton Kenimer, Sr. and Dolly Brown Kenimer. Zadoc was a US Army veteran and a former member of Rumsey Memorial Church. He developed an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age, becoming a wholesale auto dealer and had Kenimer’s Used Cars and Scrap Yard. In his later years, he lived with his parents to care for them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sherman Tate Kenimer, Sr.

Surviving are his son, Stan (Linda) Kenimer, III; daughters, Vonda (Johnny) Foley and Mendi (Dean) Banks; grandchildren, Haley (Josh) Ham, Chelsea (Brad) Poulas, and Caleb Banks; great-grandchildren, Linson Elizabeth Ham, Lane Michael Ham, Bradlie Kay Poulas, Levi Cole Poulas, and Jack Hayes Poulas; brother, Nathan Brown (Becky) Kenimer; sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Kenimer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VA Outpatient Clinic, 1380 Celebration Blvd., Florence, SC 29501.

Burial will take place at a later date at the Florence National Cemetery.
