A funeral service for Mr. Zadoc Stanton Kenimer Sr., widower of Dolly Brown Kenimer, will be at 2:00PM Saturday November 14, 2009 in Truth Chapel conducted by Pastor Darby Welch. Interment with military honors by Florence Veterans Honor Guard in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening November 13 from 6:00-8:00PM at Cain Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the granddaughter, Vonda Foley, 5521 E. Palmetto St., Florence. Mr. Kenimer, 96, died Thursday November 12, 2009, in McLeod Hospice House. He was born, April 6, 1913 in White Co., GA, to the late Charlie and India Anna Highsmith Kenimer. He was also predeceased by a son, Sherman T. Kenimer. Mr. Kenimer owned and operated Kenimer Upholstery Shop. He was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corp serving during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Truth Chapel. Surviving are: sons, Zadoc S. Kenimer Jr. and Nathan B. (Becky) Kenimer Jr. both of Florence; grandchildren, Stanton (Linda) Kenimer,III, Vonda (Johnny) Foley, Mendi (Dean) Banks, Sherman Tate Kenimer and Lori (Michael) Tumlin; great grandchildren, Chelsea Foley, Haley Kenimer, Caleb Banks, and Michael Andrew "Mat" Tumlin
