Taylorsville, NC Winnie Laura Grant Feimster, 99, of Taylorsville, NC, died on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Southland Health Care Center of Florence. She was the widow of Flake Gibson Feimster and a daughter of the late Robert Lafayette and Emma LaVance Chatham Grant. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Judy Feimster; two grandchildren, Mike (Jacquie) Feimster and Jennifer (Michael) Lockhart; and four great-grandchildren, Jay Inman, Jack Feimster, Peri Lockhart and Sullivan Lockhart, all of Florence, SC. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law: Iona Walker Grant of Statesville, NC, Mabel Bowles Grant of Taylorsville, NC, and Jane Feimster Rakestraw of Morganton, NC, one brother-in-law, Fred Feimster of Charlotte, NC, and a wonderful, caring and beloved extended family of more than two dozen Grant and Feimster nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 28, at First Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC.
