Wayne Earl Riddell, Sr., 79, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the McLeod Hospice House. He was born in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Earl and Helen Wehrum Riddell. He is also predeceased by a son, Shawn Riddell, a sister, Joyce Smerka, and his step-father, Harold "Dutch" Beultler. He is survived by his wife, Diana Frank Riddell; seven children, Russell (Anne) Riddell of Moravia, NY; Randolph (Kim) Riddell of Spring Hill, FL, Wayne E. Riddell, Jr. of Florence, SC, Kelly (Guy) Frazier of Hagerstown, MD, Tammie (Mike) Giller of Frederick, MD, Todd (Sharon) Riddell of Waynesboro, PA, and Scott (Michelle) Riddell, Sr. of New Market, MD; two sisters, Delores Scott of Buffalo, NY and Jackie (Rob) Lallak of Crossville, TN; thirty-seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in the chapel of Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
