Walter William Norman, 87, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  He was born in Boonsboro, MD, the son of the late Eugene and Zoe Fishel Norman.  He is preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son, Christopher Bruce Norman.  Walter served his country in the US Army, 82nd Airborne, Green Beret Paratrooper.  He retired from Globe Life Insurance where he worked as a salesman.  He loved listening to music and collected albums of all types.

Walter is survived by his children, Karen Norman Powers (John), Debbie Norman Rose, and Kenn Norman Moore; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Florence National Cemetery.
