Walter Prentice Land Florence, SC Walter Prentice Land, 72, of Florence, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Land was born in Macon, GA, a son of the late Freddie Lee Land and Winnie Elsie Land. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by a son, Walter Thomas Land and a grandson, Bryan. Surviving are his daughter, Charline (Robert) Johnson of Florence; a brother, Robbie Land of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
