Vernon Larsen Floyd, 61, of Scranton, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020.  He was born in Clarendon, SC, a son of the late Tarrell Jerado Floyd and Lottie Mae Smith Floyd.  Vernon worked in carpentry and loved fishing and stock car racing.

He is survived by two sons, Sheldon Larsen Floyd and Jamie Larsen Floyd; daughter, Taylor Elizabeth Floyd; grandson, Sean Patrick Floyd; brother, Tarrell A. Floyd (Jo Etta); sister, Patti Hopkins (Steve); and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1000 Pleasant Grove Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080.
