Florence, SC - Valerie Anita Barbot Beaty, 81 went home to the Lord on June 16, 2012. She was a loving wife, a devoted friend and dearly loved by all that knew her. "One white foot buy it, two white feet try it, three white feet walk about it, four white feet leave without it." She and her late husband Joseph Kershaw Beaty moved back to Florence in 2000. They eventually lived in the Carolinian and later the Presbyterian Home of Florence, where they continued to make new and dear friends. Valerie attended St. Anne Catholic Church.
