Tony Willis Meeks, 83, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019, after an illness.  He was born in Nicholls, GA, a son of the late Norman Kenneth and Mary Eunice Gaskins Meeks.

Tony was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Florence.  He retired from CSX Railroad after working for 43 years and was a member of the CSX Retired Men's Club.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Moore Meeks; his children, Toni Ann (Scot) Holland, Johnny Wade (Mary Jones) Meeks, and Lori Angela Meeks (Scott) Norwood; six grandchildren, Logan Meeks Adams, Nicholas Meeks, Brett Holland, Jason Holland, Brianna Norwood and Ashley Norwood Burgess; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Deloris Meeks.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at First Presbyterian Church.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church in the Jenkins Center.
