Timothy Jeremy Patrick "TJ" Lewis, 18, of Florence died on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Born in Florence, SC, he is a son of Jerome and Monica Mong Lewis. TJ is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Monroe Wilson Lewis; an uncle, Timothy Mong; and his step-grandfather, Dale Giroir. TJ attended St. Anthony Catholic School beginning in 4K and graduating 8th grade. He then attended West Florence High School where he was a 2015 graduate. He was enrolled at Francis Marion University to begin his freshman year this fall. TJ had a heart of gold and a very giving nature. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed by his family and many friends, as well as his special pets. Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Tyfany Lewis and Taylor Lewis; a brother, Trenton Lewis; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Marilyn Mong of Florence; paternal grandmother, Levinia Marie Giroir; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, all of South Louisiana, Ohio and Virginia. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 29, 2015, at 11:00 AM. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
