Florence, SC Thomas Manning "Tom" Robertson went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He was born September 29, 1940, in Greenville, SC to Carlisle and Margie Robertson. Tom was raised by his father and a loving stepmother, Sara. He was preceded in death by his father, stepmother, his sister Lila Jo, and his brother Jim. Tom attended Clemson University, and his devotion to his Clemson Tigers was well known. Tom served in the Army National Guard and was the owner and operator of Expertise Unlimited in Florence. He loved Central United Methodist Church and served as a balcony usher for 25 years. He is survived by Gayle Fowler Robertson, his loving wife of 54 years; his sons, Kyle (Krista) Robertson of Florence and Brennan Robertson of Florida; his granddaughter, Savannah Jane Robertson of Florida; and his sister, Judy (Dr. Mike) Tyler of Charleston. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Central United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in the Central UMC Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm in the commons area, prior to the services.
