Florence, SC Thomas F. O'Grady, 94, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Carolinas Hospital System. Born in New York City, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Olive MacKay O'Grady. Thomas is predeceased by, in addition to his parents, his wife of 28 years, Elizabeth Buckner O'Grady, and his brother, John O'Grady. Thomas graduated from New York University. He was a member of our nation's greatest generation, having served our country in the US Navy during World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth O'Grady of Columbia, SC; his son, Jim O'Grady of Washington, DC; and his granddaughter, Shannon Bradley O'Grady. A private service will be held at a later date.
