Thomas Wayne Jackson, 83, of Florence, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Mr. Jackson was born in Camden, South Carolina a son of the late T.D. Jackson and Frances Lynch Freeman.  He had served in the SC National Guard for 6 years, was a member of the BPOE (The Elks Club) and VFW, and was a member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder for a number of years.  Thomas was a successful salesman throughout his career. He loved to fish, and loved his pets and all animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Sadie Jones Jackson.

Surviving are his children, Debra (Steve) Rath, Robert F. McCready, Jr., Cindy McKenzie, and Cheryl McCready; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; one niece, 2 great-nephews; and brother, Charles (Sheila) Jackson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home.
