Florence, SC Thom Alexander Braddock, 36, of Florence, SC, died on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Thom was born in Florence, a son of Walter Lindsey Braddock, II and Cheryl Flowers Brown. Thom was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. Thom had a great passion for his GOD and he was a people pleaser and loved being around people and helping them. Thom worked with multiple local EMS and transport companies as an EMT and a Paramedic. He loved animals, having fostered many of them with the local animal shelter. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Flowers Brown; his father, Walter Lindsey Braddock, II (Betsy) of Summerton, SC; his wife, Betsy Thompson Braddock of Florence; two daughters, Rylie Sperry and Ava Sperry, both of Florence; a sister, Jossie Grimsley of Greenwood, SC; a brother, Walter Lindsey Braddock, III (Kristi) of Greensboro, NC; step-father, Louie Brown of Florence; step-brother, Scott Brown (Heather) of Florence; step-sister, Deanna Moore (Jessie) of Florence, an aunt, Dianne Rivers (Jimmy) and cousins, Terrie and Kevin (Kellie) Rivers. A memorial service will be held at Cain Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, just prior to the service.
