Theresa V. "Terry" Anderson, 98, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in a local health care facility. Terry was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late William and Theresa Streible Vaupel. As a young lady she worked as a bookkeeper in New York. She met her husband and they married in 1939. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, James Anderson and two daughters, Susan Anderson and Carole Williamson. Surviving are her longtime friends, Katherine Ericksen of Florence and Emily Hann of New Jersey, a foster daughter, Janet Pavlak of Springfield, MA, and a God-daughter, Barbara Kray of Ely, MN. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel directed by Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice.
