Terrie Ann Fairchild, 64, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.  She was born in McDowell, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Hershell and Irene Castle Newsome.  She is also predeceased by a brother, Doug Newsome, and a sister, Venda Stitt.   Terrie graduated from Ashtabula High School and was a member of ChristPoint Church.  She enjoyed working in children's ministry.  Terrie was loved by everyone and had a passion for the Lord.  She loved cooking, crocheting, arts and crafts, and especially her family. She dedicated 20 years of her life working at Freeman's Bakery, where her passion for providing delicious treats brought joy to all who knew her. After retiring, she embraced her role as a full-time Nana to her grandson Trey, showering him with love, care, and endless memories.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bruce W. Fairchild, Sr.; her son, Bruce W. Fairchild, Jr. (Crystal); her daughter, Christy L. Pisanchik (John); grandchildren, Riley E. Weatherford, Bruce W. "Trey" Fairchild, III, and Roman Fairchild (born 4/8/2024); her siblings, Helen Nichols, Del Newsome (Linda), Teresa Pierce (Arthur), Julie Miller (Keith), Sandy Newsome and Shelia Newsome (Sharon); a sister-in-law, Louise Newsome; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Stitt; and many extended family members.

A funeral service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at ChristPoint Church, with burial to follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ChristPoint Church, 800 King Avenue, Florence, SC 29501 to benefit the children's and youth ministries.
