Tana Lee Isaacsen Landes, 62, passed away Sunday May 25, in Florence SC, after a brief illness. Tana will be cremated and her remains will be spread over the Pacific Ocean as she wished. A celebration of her life and memory will be announced at a later date. She was born October 13, 1945 in Oakland, CA to the late James and Dora Isaacsen. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Shuana Lake and Todd Isaacsen. She grew up in Salt Lake City and in her mid 30's moved to California and resided there for many years. She eventually moved to South Carolina to be with her children and lived there until her death. Tana will be remembered as a woman with a heart of gold. She loved people, plants and animals and cared deeply about the ones around her. She could make anyone laugh and feel good with her warm personality. She was President of the Epilepsy Foundation in Utah and was involved with many different Opera Guilds in Utah and California. She had a radiant voice, loved to paint and most of all was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed. Surviving are: sons Brook Landes(Brianna, Spencer) and Casey Landes; daughter Mycah Landes; sister Dana Vargas.
