A memorial service for Mrs. Sydney Lee Downs Jones will be at 2:00PM, Saturday December 11, 2010, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 23 at Cain Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00PM, and other times at the home of Steven and Scarlette Glowe 864 Chaucer Dr. Florence, SC 29505. Mrs. Jones, 66, passed away peacefully November 22, 2010, in Florence, SC. She was born February 3, 1944, in Columbus, OH, to the late Robert and Lillian Jebailey Downs. She was preceded in death by her parents, and an uncle, John A. Jebaily, Sr. Sydney owned Shampoodle Inn. She was an avid animal lover, who was also involved in pet therapy. Survivors include: sons, Joe (Angie) Daloisio, and Steven (Scarlette Rhodes) Glowe both of Florence; sister, Doris (Jack) Hulbert of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Kristine (Jared) Hucks, Anthony Daloisio, Alexis Glowe, Amber Glowe, and Elliott Glowe; great-grandchild, Gracie Hucks; special friend, Elizabeth Moore; aunt, Sylvia Lutfy Jebaily; cousins, Ronnie (Suzanne) Jebaily, Dr. Jerry Jebaily, George (Debbie) Jebaily, John (Priscilla) Jebaily, and Joe (Thersa) Jebaily; and many other family members and friends.
