Susie Mae Hanna, 101, of Florence, S.C., died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Commander Nursing Facility in Florence. She was born in Macon, Georgia, a daughter of the late Henry Morris and Eula Flemings Hanna. Susie was a homemaker and had a long and fulfilling life. She raised one daughter, Mary Hanna, who died in 2000. She is survived by a granddaughter, Faye Hanna (Rick) Avin of Florence, a great-grandaughter, Sherry Smith, of Florence, a great-grandson, Jerry (April) Smith of coward, and two great-great grandchildren, Kelsie and Kade Smith. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
