Susan Galloway McInville, 69, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024.  She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Thomas Howard Galloway and Lois McPherson Galloway.  She is also predeceased by her husband, William "Andy" Ansel McInville, Sr. and a sister, Delores A. Galloway.

Susan was a 1972 graduate of McClenaghan High School.  She started in the mailroom at Stokes at age 15 and worked up to administrator until her retirement in 1997.  She then went on to work at the Physicians Practice from 1999 until 2008.  She attended Mizpah Baptist Church with her husband and was a member of Florence Baptist Temple where she joined the Edie Harris Sunday School class.  Susan loved the beach and going out to eat, reading her bible and doing crossword puzzles, but she most loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, William Ansel "Andy" McInville, Jr. (Rita); daughter, Katy Duncan; five grandchildren, Caroline and Maggie McInville, Jay and Ansley Kate Ramirez, and Grayson Duncan; sister, Tomi Jean Cleveland (Greg); two nieces, Christine Cleveland and Grace Cleveland; nephew, Jack Cleveland; uncle, Jack (Cherie) Galloway; cousin, Rosalee (Tommy) Jones; close brother and sister-in-law, Mac and Elsa McInville; three special friends, Millie Pryor, Beth Keefe and Pat Moore; and numerous other special extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.  A private Inurnment will be held at Florence National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mizpah Baptist Church senior ministry.
