Susan Marie Magliente Buffkin, 69, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023.  She was born in New York City, NY, to the late Joseph and Grace Haselden Magliente.  She is also predeceased by her husband, Joseph Buffkin, a brother, James Magliente, brother-in-law, David Altman, and a niece, Lisa Magliente.  Susan had a huge heart and had many friends.  She loved animals, especially cats.

Surviving is her sister, Anna Altman; sister-in-law, Gwen Magliente; niece, Vera Hollen (Larry); nephew, Michael Magliente; step-sister, Kathy Kress; and a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home just prior to the service.
