Subhashchandra Gordhanbhai Patel, 70, of Bishopville, SC, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.  He was born in Mogri-Kaira, India, a son of the late Lalitaben and Gordhanbhai Patel.  He is also predeceased by a brother, Lalit Patel.  After Mr. Patel left India, he lived in several countries including Germany and the United Kingdom before coming to the US to work in 2001.  He owned several businesses throughout his life.  He had a love for music, traveling, hosting and talking with people.

Surviving is his wife, Pareshaben Patel; two sons, Rajkumar Patel and Rohan Patel; three sisters, Shakuntalaben Patel, Dharmisthaben Patel and Kailasben Patel; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A traditional Hindu service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
