Stephen Michael ("Mike") Love passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 27, 2023. Mike was born on December 3, 1967 to Stephen Edgar Love and Suzanne Lynn Stein Love in Kinston, North Carolina. The oldest of three sons, he loved music, golf, and fishing. His childhood dream was to be a drummer which he accomplished throughout high school and then as a member of the band, The Kind, that toured the East Coast.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cullom Love, whom he loved for more than two decades. He is also survived by son Christian Michael Love and daughter Jasmine Ashley Love; grandchildren Kaycen and Kamden Hayek; father, Stephen; brothers James Gary Love (Candice) and Edward Andrew Love (Martina), seven nieces and nephews and many beloved cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Susie Love.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Seminar Brewing in Florence. The family will receive friends that afternoon between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
