Stephen Elliott Mason, 75, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.  He was born in Roswell, New Mexico, a son of the late Madison P and Charlotte Parrish Mason.  He is also predeceased by Carol Ann Mason, the mother of his children.

Stephen was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Navy.  He was the private business owner of MACTECH.  He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of Southern Cruisers of the Pee Dee and loved participating in all of their charitable events, and was especially supportive of St. Jude Hospitals.  Stephen was very supportive of his wife, Frankie's love and work with the Florence Area Humane Society.

Surviving is his wife, Frankie D. Mizell; two sons, Joshua Dylan Mason and Christopher Parrish "Kit" Mason (Carrie Lynn Bobis, fiancée); two brothers, Madison Palmer Mason III (Linda) and Preston Mason (Mary Ann); sister, Anne Neilson (Rich); brother-in-law, JW Helms; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Southside Baptist Church.  The family will speak to those in attendance immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Florence Area Humane Society.
