Sidney Britton White, 78, of Florence, S.C., died Monday, April 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Charleston, S.C., a son of the late Henry and Stella Martin White. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Baylor White of Florence, S.C.; four daughters, Candy Lane (Marcus) of Florence, S.C.; Sylvia White-Ramos (Jose) of Greenville, N.C.; Frances Dartman of Nebraska; Linda Langston (Jerry) of Florence, S.C.; ten grandchildren, Brandon Ramos, Aubrey Ramos, Jarrott Langston, Josh Langston, Greg Dartman, Zachary Dartman, Jamie Dartman, David Dartman, Chrystal Ferrell, Caitlin Lane; several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Cain Funeral Home.
