Shirley Parrott, 87, of Florence, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Ms. Parrott was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Shell C. Carmon and Bela Lee Carmon.  She was a member of Amanda Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in many other churches over the years as Vacation Bible School Director and the pianist for many of the singers.  She loved directing and producing church plays with costumes, props, and music to compliment the story of scripture.  She retired from ESAB as a team leader in the MT. Torch area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Lee Parrott; sons-in-law, Robert L. Page and Winston Michael Evans; brothers, Barnwell Carmon and Shell Carmon; sisters, Lovie C. Lee, Margaret C. Elmore, Iva Lee C. Stewart, Addie C. Crawford, Lissie C. Rapp, Doris C. Crawford, and Baby Cathrene Carmon.

Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Elaine Evans of Scranton, SC; grandchildren, Richard (Jamie) Parrott, Kristy Parrott (Derrick) Matthews, and Robert Allen Page; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will gather in the church fellowship hall from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Amanda Pentecostal Holiness Church with the service to be held at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
