Shirley A. Bishop, 79, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.  She was born October 12, 1939 in Westerly, RI, to the late Pasquale and Mary Agnes Bowe Algiere.  She is also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Anne Dick.

Shirley was a school teacher for many years and then worked as a baker at Publix.  She loved computer games and travelling.

She is survived by three nephews, David Watrous, Leon (Cindy) Watrous and Wayne Watrous, all of Timmonsville; one niece, Laura (Luther) Springs of Darlington; and three great nephews, Wayne Watrous, Jr., Patrick Watrous and Michael Watrous.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
