Sherman Lee Shores, Jr., 65, of Florence, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  Sherman was born in Virginia, a son of Sherman Lee Sr. and Molly Kelly Shores.  He enjoyed weightlifting and you could always see him walking down the streets of Florence.  He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife, Linda Sue Johnson Shores; a daughter, Sonia Renee Morris; and two brothers, Melvin Shores and Del Shores.

Surviving are his son, Dusty Lee (Julie) Shores; two daughters, Alicia Shores and Savannah Shores; six grandchildren, R.J. (Kayla) Morris, Tyler Morris, Cayden Morris, Jayden Morris, Jordan Shores and Rowan Shores; and one great-grandchild, Adalee Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 3023 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM just prior to the services.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home to assist the family with arrangements.
