Mrs. Sandra Lee Weunski, 70, died April 7, 2012 in Florence, SC. She was born in Erie, PA to the late William David King and the late Lucille Elizabeth Hempstead. Her husband George J. Weunski, Sr preceded her in death. Sandy, as her friends knew her, was a member of the Leatherman Senior Center. She enjoyed her time there with friends since retiring in 2009. Sandy's travels took her to many places including Alaska and the Panama Canal where she appreciated the beauty of the world and some very close friendships over the years. Surviving family includes her daughter Christine Broyhill of Fredericksburg, VA, and sons George J. Weunski, Jr. and wife, Mary, of Charleston, SC and Michael Weunski and wife, Susan, of Sanford, NC, six grandchildren in the Carolinas, two nephews and a niece in Erie, PA and their families.
