Sandra Wechie Daykin, 78, passed away on October 4, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, service, and cherished memories.

A woman of strong faith, Sandra was a devoted churchgoer who faithfully served her church community. She participated in the choir and led devotional groups, sharing her love of God and encouraging others through prayer, fellowship, and the Word. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she found great joy in serving others and bringing people together.

Outside of her church life, Sandra enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life special. She loved gardening, taking pleasure in nurturing flowers and plants and watching them grow. She also enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and spending quiet moments completing word searches. These hobbies reflected her patience, thoughtfulness, and appreciation for life's peaceful moments.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Pearl Miller and Bennie Newal Miller; and her brother, Kajor Newal Miller. She leaves behind her sister, Marilyn Smith; her children, Douglas (Holly) Putman and Jill (Michael) Beistline; her grandchildren, Hailey Task, Brook Beistline, Faith Beistline; great-grandchild, Zepher; and her sister-in-law, Stella Miller. A service will be held at Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church (263 West Seven Mile Rd Pamplico, SC 29583) on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missionaries serving the entire world.
