Florence, SC Ruth Lott Cole Arrington, 91, of Florence, SC, died on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late Fred D. and Bessie Derrick Lott. In addition to her parents, Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Charles Glenn Arrington and a brother, Fred D. Lott. Ruth was retired from Southern Bell Telephone as manager of operator services. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Florence. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Cole Campbell (Maurice "Bubba") of Columbia, SC and Beverly Cole Poston (Anthony) of Midlothian, VA; a sister, Francis L. Miller of Florence, SC; four grandchildren, Fulton Campbell (Karen) of Columbia, SC, Steve Campbell (Jennifer) of Pickens, SC, Allen Poston of Midlothian, VA and Leslie Poston Sullivan (Jeff) of Richmond, VA; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be held following the visitation, beginning at 2:30 PM. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, directed by Cain Funeral Home.
