Ronald Dennis Rhodes, 57, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015. He was born in Florence, a son of Dianne Hill Coward and the late Ronald Doward Rhodes. Dennis is survived by, in addition to his mother, a daughter, Kathryn Rhodes of Florence; two sisters, Dee Treadway of Florence and Dawn Gerken of Goose Creek; and a brother, Derrick Rhodes of Charleston, SC. Dennis was a wonderful father, son, brother, and a friend to many people. He was an avid martial arts enthusiast, animal lover, and also devoted most of his life to caring for and helping the homeless. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 2210 Hoffmeyer Rd., Florence, SC 29501 or made to Cain Funeral Home for his service at 512 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 27, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church, 2012 New Hope Drive, Florence, SC.
