A memorial service for Rolla L. "Rog" Hagerty, husband of Kay Anderson Hagerty will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday October 10, 2009, in Northgate Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Gerald McCants. The family will receive friends at the church immediately after the service. Mr. Hagerty, 72, died Wednesday October 7, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born, July 20, 1937 in Kent, OH, to the late Warren Hagerty and Charlotte Russell Hagerty Monroe. Mr. Hagerty was a Route Salesman with Frito Lay. He served in the Natural Guard in Ohio. He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: son, Greg Hagerty of Powhatan, VA; daughters, Dawn Broyles of Elizabeth City, NC and Starr Zukowski of Mountain City, TN; 5 grandchildren; brother, Thomas C. Hagerty and sister Linda Dean of Mt. Pleasant, MI.
