Florence, SC Funeral services for Mr. Roland G. Reinhard will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with full military honors, directed by Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Mausoleum Chapel. Mr. Reinhard, 91, died August 18, 2014, at his Florence residence surrounded by loving family. He was born on January 7, 1923, the son of the late George A. Reinhard and Grace M. DeMarco in Yorkshire, New York. Mr. Reinhard was a loving husband and father. He was a decorated World War II veteran, a 32nd Degree Mason of the Circleville, Ohio Lodge, and retired from DuPont with 32 years of service. Mr. Reinhard is survived by his treasured wife of 68 years, Bette E. Reinhard; four children, Daryl (Cheryl) Reinhard, Dale (Velma) Reinhard, David (Darolyn) Reinhard and Cathy Reinhard, all of Florence, SC; three grandchildren, Brandy (Josh) Floyd, Jason Reinhard and Kevin Reinhard, all of Florence, SC; and one great-grandchild, Jaidyn Floyd of Florence, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina's Hospice.
