Rodney T. Hudson, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022.  He was born in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Ross T. and Inez West Hudson.  He is also predeceased by his daughter, Lisa D. Hudson.  Mr. Hudson served his country in the United States Marines.  He was a founding member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church in Florence.

He is survived by his wife, Lida Jones Hudson of the home; son, Richard Hudson of Mullins; daughter, Kandace "Kandy" Hudson of Florence; granddaughter, Heather Mims (Tim) of Florence; and grandson, Ross Fennell of Hurlburt Field, FL.

A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Entombment to follow.  The family will speak to those in attendance following the service at the Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkwood Presbyterian Church.
