Robin Hartley Horne, 66, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the McLeod Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.  Robin was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Keith and Frances Louise Dingle Hartley.  She received her undergraduate degree from Francis Marion College and went on to earn her master's degree from The University of South Carolina in Library Science.  Robin worked for many years in FSD1 at Southside and most recently retired from Lee Central High School in Bishopville.  She was a faithful member of Highland Park UMC having enjoyed working with her husband, Teddy, with Cars and Coffee.  Robin loved spending time with the "apple of her eye", her grandson, Cole.

Surviving is her loving husband of 36 years, Teddy Dale Horne, a daughter, Elyse Nicole (Rodney Pittman) Horne, her grandson, Rodney "Cole" Pittman, her brother, Barron Kevin (Dawn) Hartley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the American Cancer Society.
