Robert Joseph Webb, 80, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at McLeod Hospice House.  He was born in Hopewell, Virginia, a son of the late Charles Andrew and Margaret Landrum Webb.  He is also predeceased sister, Margaret Jane Webb Minter.  Mr. Webb was proud of his service as an Army Reservist and a retired Air Force Reservist.

Surviving is his wife of 58 ½ years, Phyllis Baker Webb; two sons, Robert J. Webb, Jr. and Bradley S. Webb (Jennifer); two grandchildren, Jason Rauf (Tasha) and Catherine N. Webb; two great grandchildren, Dawson and Kason; two brothers, Charles William Webb (Judy) and Phillip Webb (Margaret); brother-in-law, Bruce W. Baker; sister-in-law, Patricia Zimmerman (Richard); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia.
