Robert "Bobby" Louis Benenhaley, 68, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.  Bobby was born in Columbia, SC, a son of Helena McCutcheon Benenhaley and the late Louis Benenhaley.  He is also predeceased by his wife, Gladys Kay Prosser Benenhaley and a son, Christopher Shawn Benenhaley.

Mr. Benenhaley worked for General Electric and then worked in the Tool & Dye industry for Shortrun Stamp.  He then worked until retirement in insurance sales.  Bobby was involved with Boy Scouts of America, Troop 402, serving as Scout Leader and Scout Master for almost 20 years.  He loved fishing, golfing, the Atlanta Braves and Disney.  Bobby loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving is his mother, Helena M. Benenhaley; a son, Mark Odell Benenhaley (Angel); six grandchildren, Kristen Benenhaley, Taylor Thompson (Zachary), Tyler Haselden, Winter Benenhaley, Grayson Benenhaley and Jacob Alan Benenhaley; two great-grandchildren, Greylen Thompson and Brooks Thompson; three brothers, Carleton C. Benenhaley (Donna), David R. Benenhaley (Simmie) and Jamie Benenhaley (April); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service at the mausoleum.
