Robert “Bob” Joseph Ammirati, 93, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Mr. Ammirati was born in Hollis, Long Island, New York the son of the late Louis Ammirati and Josephine Ammirati. He retired as President of Nytronics, Inc. and had been a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Bob loved to sing anytime he could, from open-mic nights to nursing homes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Roseann Marie Ammirati, who passed away in 2015, and by a brother, Louis Ammirati.

Surviving are his sons, Robert “Bobby” (Tammy) Ammirati and Domenick “Nick” Ammirati; daughter, Deborah (Bobby) Forbes; granddaughter, Emily C. Ammirati; step-grandchildren, Kimberly (Coleby) Dean and Rodney Thomas Pittman; great-grandchildren, Leelah Ammirati (Maggie Peters) and Giona Ammirati; step-great-grandchildren, Parker, Lucas, Cole, and Jaxon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer's Association .

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home.
