Darlington, SC Rita M. Pegelow, 63, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. Rita was born in Medina, NY, a daughter of the late William and Rita Baker. In addition to her parents, Rita is predeceased by her husband, Wallace Pegelow, Jr. Rita lived in the Medina, NY area until she married her husband, Wallace in 1990 and moved to Darlington, SC in 1991. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling for many years. Rita loved reading and knitting. Rita is survived by three children; a son, S. William (Denise) Morgan of Medina, NY; daughters, Shari Harrison of Hartsville, SC, and Sarah (Jeff) Boring of Apex, NC; three brothers, Bill (Mary Ellen) Baker of Keuka Lake, NY, Robert (Chris) Baker of Beverly Hills, FL, and Kenneth (Rosie) Baker of Medina, NY, and one sister, Nancy Baker of Florence, SC.; a brother in law, Thomas (Diane) Pegelow of Middleport, NY,; and stepchildren, Tammy Snyder, Lisa Elevares, Lori Pegelow and Amanda Flowers.
