Ricky Lee Southers, 67, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Mr. Southers was born in Newton, Mass. A son of William Southers and the late Dorothy Locke Southers. He was a US Air Force veteran having retired after 20 years of service. He later worked in construction with Marr Scaffolding in Boston, Mass. from which he retired again.

He was preceded in death by his mother and by a daughter, Jennifer Knarr.

Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife, MaryAnn Polito Southers; sons, Ricky Southers, Jr. and Randy Southers; daughter, Jewel Southers; eight grandchildren; brother, William Southers, Jr.; sister, Kim Southers.
