IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard Herbert
Mannheim
March 18, 1959 – September 9, 2013
Florence, SC Richard Mannheim, 54, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2013. He was born in Schaebish, Germany, a son of William August Mannheim and the late Raymonde Brassard Mannheim. While he will be missed greatly, we know that he is now free in the presence of Jesus. Richard leaves behind a rich legacy. He loved without reservation, from the dearest of friends and family to those rejected and forgotten by society. His greatest passion was loving God and people. Richard gave freely, just as he'd been given, whether it was the clothes off of his back, the food from his table or the money in his pocket. He knew no limit to caring for others. He prayed for countless individuals by name. Richard understood the heart of relationship and the heart of His Father God. He lived the Gospel, day in and day out. He will always be remembered for the extravagant love he freely poured out. Richard is survived by his father, William Mannheim of Rock Hill, SC; two sisters, Sylvia Mannheim, of Charlotte, NC, and Elizabeth (Sam) Davis of Timmonsville, SC; a brother, Peter (Carol) Mannheim of Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews. Local memorial services will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1021 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence SC. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the American Bible Society or the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
