Richard James Ash, of Manning SC, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born in Milwaukee WI, a son of the late Harold and Doris (Perdilla) Ash. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; William & Harold, and sister Mavis. From the young age of 15 Richard worked in the grocery business in Milwaukee, Upstate New York, and the greater Charlotte area. Later the salesman at heart worked in the car sales and mortgage industry. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing golf, tennis, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Rock Hill, SC. Richard fulfilled his dream and retired to the golf course in Manning, SC. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and loved by all.

Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Antoinette (Bellante) Ash; daughters, Gina (David) Marx, Nicole (McCree) Troutman, Lora (Tom) Strobel, Jean Stanley (Patrick); eight grandchildren, Sophia (Ben) Foster, Grayson Troutman, Adalynn James Troutman, Eric (Amy) Huber, Ashley (Greg) Dieball, Taylor DeLaurier, Anthony (Kayla) Stanley, Tyler Stanley; eight great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Richard Ash on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at McCree and Nicole Troutman's home. 2427 Valelake Road York, SC.
