Rebecca "Becky" Vick Daniel, 68, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024.  She was born in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Vick and Pearline Carroll Vick.  She is also predeceased by three brothers, Douglas Vick, Jeff Vick and Keith Vick.

Becky earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of South Carolina and her teacher's certification from Francis Marion.  She became a national board-certified teacher of which she was very proud.  Becky was a school teacher for East Clarendon, Coward and Florence schools for many years covering all three levels, grammar, middle and high schools, and worked for the last 10 years for Florence District 1 as a homebound coordinator.

Surviving is her husband of 44 years, James Dodd Daniel; daughter, Lindsay Daniel Crosswell (Will); two grandchildren, Geneva Rose Crosswell and Thaddeus James Crosswell; six siblings, Martha Thompson (John), Marilyn Stalvey (Michael), Nicki Bishop (John), Kip Vick (Miriam), Joey Vick (Suzanne) and Terri Harris (Kelly); and a number of nieces, nephews and special friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family, on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Comfort Suites, 2120 W. Lucas Street, Florence, SC  29501.  People are welcome to drop in as they can, but around 11:45 AM they will have a time of sharing and music.   Cremation services are entrusted to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
