Randall “Randy” Maxey Hartley, 49, of Evergreen, passed away on June 3, 2026 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was a beloved son born on March 7, 1977 to Bobby and Maxine Hartley. Randy worked in various construction industries over the years. When he set his mind to them there weren’t many things that he couldn’t do. He would often be found fixing one thing or another for a friend in his spare time. Randy had a brilliant mind and a wonderful sense of humor. If he wasn’t cracking jokes then something was wrong. He was an animal lover in every sense and loved to adopt a stray. He loved the water as well and spent many days at the river or in the river. He was unapologetically himself and lived life without regret. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

Randy is survived by his loving mother, Maxine Hartley and his brother, Jason (Brandy) Hartley.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard Hartley and Daisy Lloyd; his maternal grandparents, Maxey Poston and Mary Poston; his father, Bobby Hartley; a sister, Jennifer Hartley; and a brother, Bobby Joe "B.J." Hartley.

Randy will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Saturday June 6, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at 2317 Queen Ann Rd, Florence, SC 29501. Casual attire only, no formal wear, Randy would hate that.
