Randall Monroe Poston, 56, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at McLeod Hospital. He was born in Florence, a son of the late James Monroe Poston and Iva Lee Poston. He is also predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Poston. Randall was retired after 28 years as a truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and riding around his farm on his tractors. He loved helping others. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Randall is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elaine Harrell Poston; two daughters, Jessica Herrmann (Bruce) and Jamie Poston Byrd, both of Pamplico; seven grandchildren, Madolyn, Sarah and Mason Byrd, Jacob Poston, Cameron, Michael and Jayson Herrmann; one sister, Karen Weatherford (Ken) of Darlington; brother and sister in law, Mickey and Faye Munn; special nephew, Bryce Munn; sister in law, Myra Poston of Florence; his Aunt, Ruth Hyman of Florence; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his canine companions, Blaze, Candace, and Buck. A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Pisgah UMC. Burial will follow at Prosser Cemetery in Pamplico.
