Florence, SC Phyllis Wirth Valone, 63, of Florence, S.C., died Thursday, November 28, 2013 surrounded by loved ones at her residence. She was born in Riverside, California, a daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth Winkler Wirth. She is survived by her husband William T. Valone of Florence, S.C.; one son, Jonathan Valone (Ashley) of Hartsville, S.C.; two daughters, Stephanie Fournier (Kevin) of Hanscom AFB, MA; Pamela Benfer (Andrew) of Florence, S.C.; one brother, Skip Wirth (Lynn) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister, Nancy Young (Chuck) of Leesburg, FL ; six grandchildren, Eden Sell, Jordan Sell, Joshua Fournier, Tyler Fournier, and Gabriella Fournier, and Belle Grace Benfer. She spent her life dedicated to her husband and children. She was a vibrant woman who fought a long battle with cancer with courage and tenacity. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed dearly. The family will receive friends to celebrate her life Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 2-4:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home.
