Phyllis Faye Hudson, 61, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. Phyllis was born in Mullins, SC, a daughter of Dorothy McCormick Caulder and the late Luther Grant "LG" Caulder. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved being involved in all her grandchildren, her "Lil Rascals", extracurricular activities. Phyllis also loved to fish. Surviving in addition to her mother are her loving husband of 35 years, Jerry Phillip Hudson, 3 children, April (Luke) Byers, Brent (Victoria) Hudson and Brett Hudson all of Florence, her sister, Julia (Joe) Nevling of Timmonsville and her "Lil Rascals", Ethan, Carleigh, Kaitlyn, Brilee, Brentsyn, Saylor and one on the way. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the services. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House or the McLeod Cancer Center.
