Peggy Wells, 68, of Florence, S.C., passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born in Florence, S.C., daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Cuttino Wells. She is predeceased by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Croswell. Peggy is survived by a brother, Tommy Crosswell of Florence, S.C.; sister-in-law, Ruth Barr of Florence, S.C.; Nephew, Tony C. Barr(Kelly) of Evans, Ga; great niece, Brittany Barr Enfinger and a great-great niece, Presleigh Grace Enfinger, both of Evans, Ga.; great nephew, Clayton Crosswell Barr of Kennesaw, Ga. She was a graduate of McClenaghan High School and an active and faithful member of Florence Baptist Temple where she was a member of the Gail Lyles Sunday School Class. Peggy devoted her life to serving the Lord and caring for loved ones, and she was happiest when spending time with her many wonderful friends and family. She leaves behind her beloved African Grey Parrot, Nick of 25 years. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Florence Baptist Temple.
